I know this post has a few years on it's back, but you should really also have TimeSheet Reporter (http://www.timesheetreporte...) on it, since it allows you to report time via Outlook.

From my personal experience I have been using this software from a very long time, its hassle free and easy to use and navigate. The most promising part of this software is that its cloud and calender based.

I was wondering why Talygen is not in the list. Time tracking apps are beneficial for freelancers as well as for project managers of big enterprises. Moreover, Talygen provides unmatching functionality at no more cost.

I think you have left the one "Invoicera". It has also a time tracking software. I am using it for tracking the time online and I am fully satisfied. I think one can try this also.

Also check Replicon's time tracking software which is an easy to use cloud based solution. It is very user friendly and has got great usability features.

It is really easy to use and very affordable.

I needed something that could interface with QuickBooks and I found GoToMyAccounts (http://www.gotomyaccounts.com). It allows you to setup a billing portal (similar to FreshBooks), but it synchronizes with QuickBooks.

i am using a web Timesheet which is a web based solution , it gives nice way to track employees and project time , it have automatic and manual approval and manage the expenses . on the whole it is giving me much facilities to manage my all work as well as employees .

Another tool for time tracking is Fanurio http://www.fanuriotimetrack... Fanurio has a few reminders to help you start, resume or stop the timer. It also has idle time detection and it can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux.

We've used mindsalt timesheet for a little over 2 years now. It's worked great... being web-based is a plus since we have quite a few part-timers who work from home and school.
